Office 2007 - Anyone tested it with minimium requirement machine?

    No, but I have it on my laptop which has a gig of RAM, needless to say you can notice the difference on loading up the applications. That and Office 2007 sucks balls, they destroyed Word so much that I'm sticking to the older version. The whole introduction of .docx has been a complete nightmare!

    Have you googled Office 2007's system requirements to give you an idea, depending on what specs yer PC's are.

    I have it running on a p4 2.6 with 512mb of ram and its grand. Bit slow like but still useable.

    Yeah, but it even though it says min requirements it will probably be really slow on it and slow down everything else. All i'm really trying to do is building a case to get our machines here upgraded.

    I can tell you that I ran it on a 1GHZ P3, 384MB RAM and it ran fine. So it should run grand on what you through at it.

    yeah having to download a convertor to run on older versions is a balls. Maybe I'm just old school but I prefer 97!!! Have 2003 also.

    My brother is runnin 2007 on a p4, 516 RAM op.
