Apologies if this has been covered before, but the search function isn't working. My missus starts a new job in Monday in Ballsbridge. She'll be travelling from Lucan. She was thinking of using the CL1 bus service from Celbridge to Nutgrove, which stops in Lucan and at the RDS. Anyone know how long it takes from Lucan to Ballsbridge? She starts work at 4pm, so traffic into town shouldn't be too bad:rolleyes:

I used to use the Morton's Coaches up to 7 years ago. More buses and routes now. Used to take an hour or so from Spa to Ballsbridge. Traffic is worser now but there is the new bus lane on the quays now which might make a difference.

    Timetable here

So you'll see most of the routes are done for rush hour, not going in at 4pm. Even Dublin Bus does this, no eXpresso routes into town after early morning, so only other option would appear to be Dublin Bus. At least they cater for travel at non-peak times.

Side note: searching for short words (less than 4 chars), use CL1*

That link above is to the old timetable (which is still on the Circle Line site).

The CL1 now runs about every 30 minutes.

The link above has the new timetable.
