My Wiimote is gone funny!

I was viewing the weather channel, everything going fine.

Never had a problem with my wiimote before.

Then I clicked menu button to return to the main screen which it did, BUT THEN!

No response from the wiimote at all. 3/4 full batteries. Three of the four lights flash when I press the power button.

So I tried fresh batteries. Four of the four lights flash then turn off.

I can turn on my Wii console manually, but its useless without the wiimote.

Has this happened anyone else and any advice???

I dont think so. I pretty sure thats not it. Cos it was working perfectly and in between use, it just stopped.

Now its going all flashy at me!

Also try re-syncing (button under SD cover on console + button under battery cover of wiimote).

Obviously not an engineer, are ya? :D It's always our first suggestion when we're not sure what's wrong. Plug whatever it is out, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in and try again. Then if it still deosn't work we tear it apart ;)

    Glad it's working anyway :)

My wiimotes went funny last night playing 4x4 monster truck. Neither one would turn the truck correctly. Must try the ole 'unplug' trick to see if they are working.

Silly question but is there a battery gauge for the wiimote? How long would a set of batteries generally last?

    Thanks

Yes there is, if you press the home button on the console then point and click at the wiimote you see on screen it'll show you how much battery you have left.

I actually work in IT support and have found that cutting power to anything seems to help almost anything! Doing it to my Wii is new though!
