MacBook: Docking station

    Hi All,
Has anyone experience with using a docking station with the MacBook? There appears to be limited options: http://www.bookendzdocks.com/Docking_Stations-Docking_Station_for_13_MacBook_White.html

Looking at the bookendz option, I'm worried that plugging the docking station in&out could cause damage to the connectors on the MacBook. I wonder how easily the docking station and MacBook connect together.

    Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you need it? If you just get a USB 2.0 hub, or have a screen with a built in USB 2.0 hub, there are mainly 3 connections that need to be plugged in:

    USB
    Display
    Power

Takes all of 1 second. If that's you, why bother with a dock?

Actually, network too, in most cases.

I'll be plugging in the following:
    - USB Hub
    - Power
    - External monitor
    - External speakers
    - and (occasionally) headet for Skype
Its just such a tangle/mess of loose cables.

To be honest cant justify the cost a dock: bookendz costs $160 plus shipping, which they quote $90. Havent found anyone in Ireland who can supply one.
