ram?

    i think i put the wrong ram into a new computer and as it booted up for the first time it says "windows cannot complete the installation".
    i removed the ram but still getting the same message.
    any suggestions much appreciated.

    why do u think its the ram what error message you get besides the windows cannot complete the installation? how bmuch ram ya got? one or 2 sticks of it? if 2 try taking one out and using one to complete the install if same error then swap it for the other.

    i found a copy of vista and reinstalled it
    i thought i had blown it up
    alls well
