DVD plugin problem

hi there im having a bit of a problem with my laptop dvd player in that a message came up saying that a plugin had been damaged so my dvds wont play properly now. I removed Acer Arcade which I think was my dvd software and installed power dvd but same problem. does anyone have any ideas on what to do? Also my comptuer is…

Do you mean playing DVD's in Media Centre is broken ?

If so download deccheck and install it, when run it will list the MCE compatible DVD decoders present for WMP & MCE simply select the PowerDVD one & set it as the default & now try playing again.
