Playing about 350, call a 7 euro raise on the blind from the button with A7c in a multi-way pot.

Flop comes A,7,6 rainbow. Checked to me, I bet 60. Folded to a tight player who thinks for a while, then flat calls. Turn card is a King. He bets 200 straight away.

I should point out the villian had only been able the table for about 2 orbits, and had only played one big pot, where he had trip 9's.

Can I possibly call here? Villian has me slightly covered.

Would you snapcall this online at 1/2? At 0.50 / 1?

I would definitely at almost every level, there actually hasn't been that much strength shown. Id only fold if I knew the villain and he was very tight.

You are badly off here, Lloyd, even if his range is insanely tight and he only has

    A7
    A6
    AK
    66
    77

    we should still call

I reckon his range looks something like AK
    AQ
    AJ
    AT
A9 and less, not that likely
    A7
    A6
    67
    45

Yeah, I felt there wasn't much I was beating here. He could have over-played AQ, AJ, but the fact he'd only been involved in one big hand, and that was with a huge hand was in my mind.

After a long ass time in the tank, I gave him the old 'will you show if i fold' line and mucked. He showed AK, so good fold I guess. He didn't half play it horribly though. I still trebled my tank over the night so a decent nights work.

you say hes only played one big pot in 2 orbits, which means hes probably been involved in several small ones. without any info that says otherwise, your in the jackpot, and from the way this guy played the hand he doesnt look too great, so i would say he has 67 aq aj a10 and lower enough for this to be a call, and thats probably giving him too much respect. results based thinking ftw.

did you stand up afterwards and say "they forgot one thing, i can dodge big slick baby"?

he hadnt played any small pots, believe me he was playing tight. i was sure he wasnt putting all his stack in there without a big hand, one that crushed mine.

**** i forgot to say that. i also forgot to call him a stupid donkey that cant spell poker. LOL.

Why are you calling 7 eur raise blind on the button. You are missing an important opportunity to raise or fold. Would you still call if he had checked your cards.
