No but I see from the press releases on their site that they were set up in Spain. Their delivery charges appear to be a wee bit steep as well ?

Have you looked at komplett.ie as a comparison or some of the other (good bad or ugly) online stores the ups and downs of which are well covered elsewhere on boards.ie

    Thanks for the reply.
Komplett only have the 42" and its 1799 euro so from them the 50" would be 3000+.

I contacted rebelio about warrenty and stuff and they said:

The warranty we provide is the same as any manufacturer, one year for all the products we offer, according to European law.

    > If you need to use your warranty, you must contact the manufacturer and they will send you the steps to get your product repaired. In case technical service rejects to repair your product please contact us again, we will send you the repair form in order to collect the item.

Think i will order off them as they are about 700 quid cheaper than anywhere else.

    Curry's are chaging 4 g's for it:eek:

If you buy from a bricks & mortor retailer I believe the contract is with the retailer not the manufacturer. If you need to use the warranty, you deal with the retailer. Telling you to contact the manufacturer smells fishy to me.

If they agree that they do/must honour the warranty, ask if they intend to charge you for the pick up and return costs. Some online retailers have told me that I was liable for transport costs, some told me they were. Needless to say which one I went with.

I'm setting up a home cimema system from scratch. LCD/DVD/Sky HD/AV Receiver/Surround Speakers. Over the past 3 or 4 weeks I've read exhaustively on AV forums, HE forums, review sites and online retailers. Sorry I can't give you the source, but I remember reading a long thread somewhere where Rebelio customer service was slated.
