My first Irish publication

Hey, I know it Mayfair or Vanity Fair but all have to start somewhere I suppose.

I covered a paintball event (especially as its my first love) a few weeks back as some of you know and it was covered by Slick magazine in their June issue.



I completely forgot to post up that it was in there!!!!!!!!

No Dave, it was one of the conditions of releasing the images in the first place through the people involved with the event. I noticed that they have not credited ANY photograher in the mag which is apparantly their "thing."

Very well done. I don't think their layout/colour scheme do your pics any favours though.

I've had SLICK magazine use my images before without my permission, giving me no credit, changing my original images to a sh1tty green colour, making them look terrible and being total a$$holes when I contacted them about it. I know I'm not the first here either.
With my rant over and everything else put aside, congratulations on getting some stuff published!

nothing to do with your pics they are eaily the best thing on the page but i have to feel that any half decent graphic designer would tear that layout apart tho

Like someone said, online credits are great but you get a bigger buzz seeing it in glossy print! I know I got more excited about my mag stuff than online stuff lately. Anyway congrats and well deserved.. and i KNOW this is just the start of great things
