    Do you think they will announce a new PSP today? I wouldn't mind a a new, smaller PSP with a big Hard Drive and more Wifi features(streaming videos from a computer) and mabe a video download service. Mabe an iPod/iPhone competitor? What do you think?

    Pretty disappointing really, it's practically identical to the current one. If they'd added the hard drive I probably would have bought one to keep up to date on firmware while I use my current one for homebrew.

    Seeing as though my PSP only recently gave up the go (I really dont know whats wrong with it, some problem trying to boot up. So long my PSP-1000 jap ver 1.0 ;_; ) this might be worth buying.

    Although, I can see myself just trying to nab the current model when it drops in price with the new one coming out.

    Video out is the only new function but can you play games through TV out?

    I think so, which is something a lot of people have wanted..

    One thing I immediately thought of with this is how you'll be able to view all of your media stored on your PS3 or PC on a TV anywhere in the world with this, as long as you have a wireless hotspot.

    PC -> PS3 -> PSP -> TV

    That'd be pretty nifty to say the least. And also, any remote play games on your PS3 at home, you'd be able to play on a TV away from home in the same vein.

    But wouldn't your PS3 need to be on?

    Yeah, at the moment. But there's supposed to be a function coming soon that will let you turn your PS3 on and off remotely, with your PSP.
