Your Sky dish is pointing at the Eurobird 1 (28.5E) and the Astra 2 set of sattelites at 28.2E (Astra 2A, 2B and 2D)

If you open Services and Signal Test, 0002 is listed in one of the fields. This seems to be a code for the satellite the dish is aligned to [the satellites Winters has listed]. I believe 0001 is the code for Astra 1.

i plugged in a free to view box to my sky satellite connection
ran a scan and i have 80% signal quality on astra 19.2!

found loads of channels on astra 19.2 incl cnn..

the box shows the signal on the astra 19.2

Sky (UK & IRL) ONLY uses Astra 2/Eurobird at 28.2E

A FTA box can think it's pickign up Astra 1 as many of the same transponder frequencies are used on different birds.

But anyway, if the dish is for Sky, it's most defintely on 28.2E
