    Was it intel or amd?
Is the memory DDR or DDR2?
    IDE or Sata Hard drives?

first if you want to play change this graphic card !
I think you can find some good agp graphic card for less 180 € which can help you toplay recent game (for example ATI X1950 Pro).

AMD is not good now. better is Core 2 Duo E4300 which can easily increase to speed of E6300.
graphics card : look at this ->
    http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/x1950pro-gf7900gs_8.html#sect1

    not really good :(

So What u Are Saying Is That Intel Is Better For Gaming Because I Heard Otherwise:confused:

yes better, less expensive and not too hot (you can't boil water with an intel cpu !)
AMD was excellent before Core 2 duo cpu arrived. Now it's really bad !

for game the most important is not CPU but graphic card. with a X1950 pro and E4300 you can play at all game (even Oblivion in high resolution and high details).

Can U advise a graphics card under 65€ on Komplett.ie

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34 little_sheep

    this one :
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=337093

but I prefer to tell you it's not the best card at all to play with new game. Maybe wait 2 or 3 month to earn more money to buy something interesting.

what is your max prise for the overall (CPU,Ram,motherboard, graphicCard) ?
because X2 6000+ is stupid with only 1024Mo of Ram and a poor 1650XT
