Memory Card Problems

Hi, I have a Minolta Dimage Zi camera which takes a SD memory card. I was at a wedding over the weekend taking some photos and everything was working find. Then at one stage I picked up the camera and got the error message "Unable to use card"

I've taken the card out and plugged it into the card reader and it seemed to work fine, I got all my photo's off it :) However when i plugged it back in I got the same error.

I've done some checking on line and the suggested solution seems to be to reformat the card ensuring that I use the FAT format and not the FAT32 format.

I will also be trying a different SD card in the camera once I can get my hads on one.

I will be trying this later, any other suggestions on this?

Anyone know the price range for a 1Gb SD card in the shops at the moment?

    Cheers,
    Aodh

if you format use your camera to do it.

1Gb SD card can cost around 20-30€ depending of speed and quality of card.

The FAT formating sorted the issue. Thanks little_sheep.
