Buisness Start-ups - Experiences?

    I'm just curious about people's perspective on going it alone with regards a business start-up!

    Did you set up your own business?

    If so did you gain a few years experience from working in relevant industry or start straight from getting out of college/school?

    Did you plan on setting up your own business & get comfortable in a job and this now deters you?

    Would you consider leaving your job to start up your own business even though you have people dependent on you(partner,kids,house etc)?

    If you failed how'd you deal with it & was it worth it?
