Chances of delays Heathrow T1

Bit of a weird thread title but bear with me.

Going to the UK and back in a day for work and the timings are going to be tight.

Leaving Dublin at 11.20 arrive LHR 12.35 I think

Get work stuff outta the way and depart LHR at 18.10 on return flight to Dublin.

However, I've been unlucky with the last few flights I've taken:
    - storm force gales, Dublin and Gatwick
    - missed flight & rain/snow Manchester
    - 1 hour delay to and from LHR
    - 1 hour delay + thunderstorm in Paris CDG.

I know summer can be busy at LHR so I'm just wondering what the chances are of getting held up due to stacking over Heathrow, delays in Dublin or whatever.

If anyone has recent experiences of flying into / out of Dublin from/to LHR over the past 10-14 days, I'd be very grateful to know if you were delayed.

Delayed by 20 mins 2 weeks ago. But you never predict LHR, no matter what terminal.
Depending on London location, I find London City Airport with City Jet (Air France) is best. Not cheap. But they have a 20 mins prior departure policy in LCY, which is great if you running late.

Yeah, to be honest you might as well look at tea leaves in a cup as predict how things will pan out at Heathrow. It changes from hour to hour, never mind week to week.
