The Wii' Guitar Hero Controller: First Image!

From Nintendo Wii FanBoy:

Activision and RedOctane have finally unveiled the Wii's Guitar Hero 3 controller. Like the one for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, it's based on the Gibson Les Paul shape, with a removable solid white faceplate. However, unlike the version for the other systems, it's got a big cavity in it for the Wiimote, which a lot of us expected.

Does the fact that we have already bought about $40 worth of this controller make the $90 price for game and guitar too high? It's an old argument, but now that we have a little more information, it may be worth thinking about again.

I like the look of it, sounds a tad on the expensive side. I have never played guitar hero before so i don't know if i'd like it but the guitar seems professional. Doesn't really compare to the wii sports accessories!!!

If you've never played Guitar Hero, you should download Frets On Fire which is similar but free! Not sure where to get it though. Just Google it.

ah ffs another non-lefty friendly version of the guitar, 360 version was impossible to use this looks just as difficult :-(

I've never played a guitar hero game but I think that I will splash out on this title when it is released.

Did you select lefty switch in the options menu ? Dont see why it would be hard to use.

That's nice. I didn't really like the 360's Explorer. Les Paul is so much prettier. You know we'll end up paying some appalling price for it over here though. Will wait for a little bit to see if the price goes down. I'm just a poor student!

Meh...Guitar Hero sucks anyway. It's much better to actually play a real guitar.

I think there on the guitar for the Rock Band game. Not sure if thats coming to the Wii.
