Think it's cos The Point is closing and there's no other venue to put it into.....

Are they definitely not going to play? I was holding out in the hope they'd announce something :( What's wrong with the RDS, they played there last summer. They said Dublin were the best gigs on the tour, I really hope they'll find somewhere to play.

their touring belfast in october though.... not exactly an ideal time for an outdoor gig in the rds. im not sure what the indoor capacity of the rds is though. but in fairness they are playing 5 nights in belfast... plenty of choice.

and all bands say that dublin is the best gigs of their tour ;) i always crack up laughing when i hear that

Dublin usually is though, we're a great crowd ;)

Think it's a bit lousy on fans down the country...imagine going from Kerry or Cork to Belfast? They could surely find a suitable venue....RDS has quite a large capacity indoor venue.
