Making a flag(Help Needed)

I am a supporter of a Eircom League soccer team and was thinking of getting a flag digitally printed to bring with me to all the matches home and away so I can add a bit of clour to the terraces

The company I have contacted need the design as a vector in .eps or .cdr and I don't have access to any program that will allow me to do this. It also needs to be a minimum of 300dpi

I have a couple of ideas in my head as to how I would like my flag to look but have asked around locally for help but no one seems to be interested.

I know it is asking a lot but I would be grateful if someone could help me with this or perhaps have some ideas in their head they think might look good on a soccer banner.

I would have no problem with someone putting a web address in the bottom right hand corner for advertisement of their services and I could possibly get them some business that way

BTW I support Athlone Town FC (Some people probably thinking I need all the help I can get now):D

You could try inkscape... that's free and can save your work as .eps

Battery Rover, I've got these two made up in the UK.

Both started off life as rough ideas, in MS Paint. (free with Windows)
Get your ideas down, then try to compile them with some graphics tool. Ask others what they think. If you're stuck after that, then I'm sure someone here will help you.
