most have a good range, my sender is upstairs and recievers all over the house. Even reaches back garden with no problems. Notice if i change the reciever channel i can pick up other peoples sender units

Not to hijack the thread or anything but has anyone found one that can "co-exist" with a wireless router? Have a sender that works ok but once the router goes on (or the neighbour's) then it's pretty unusable - even going through its available channels.

It can be done. Try changing the channel your video sender uses and see if that fixes the problem. If not, try changing the channel on the router instead.

Put Wireless on Ch 13 and Video on ChA

Orientate base stations / receivers carefully.

Or use 802.11a WiFi only. (Different band)

A video sender? As mustang68 said, try Maplin. Argos also stock them.
