Does anyone know if reasonable coverage is being given on any of the digital channels?

The current coverage is online only afaik. ESPN will have exlusive coverage at a later date while www.worldseriesofpoker.com will be showing the final table live for $50.

I can't decide if it's a superhero uniform, or if he is racing for Nascar next year.

It's $50 this year because they have been showing many final tables and the $50 got you access to them all.

ESPN Starts Broadcasting 2007 WSOP Tomorrow
The $5,000 Mixed Hold'em Event Kicks Off Season
The 2007 World Series of Poker’s main event is just getting rolling and already ESPN is ready to start broadcasting its coverage of this year’s selected preliminary events tomorrow.

The first televised event, the $5,000 World Championship Mixed Hold’em event ,will be aired at 5 p.m PT/ 8 p.m. ET. The hourlong episode with be followed by a $1,500 no-limit hold’em event.

WSOP broadcast will continue with two more events back to back July 17, at the same times. ESPN takes a week off, but continues broadcasting the WSOP July 31, and continues broadcasting the events every Tuesday until mid-October.

Last year poker fans had to wait until the summer was just about over to watch the 2006 events.

Any word of live coverage yet?

If I recall ESPN were showing it on their site and made a rather hilarious mistake instead of having a purchase button, they had launch button instead which opened the stream with liver coverage. They only realised it 2 hours in but by then tons of people had it including me :)

I think you can buy the final table in for about $20. Check their website, i can't remember the exact figure. It's definitely not $50, that's for all their coverage.
