Problem using features on a website- Popup Blocker?

First off, I know zip about Macs and I'm trying to help a friend who uses one.

She is trying to play Bridge online at this website>

    http://www.bridgeclublive.com/Login_Y.asp

She is using Internet Explorer her Mac.

Her problem is that she cannot play the cards at a table. She can start a new table and 'sit' at it. But, she cannot play.

She has been told that it may have something to do with popup blockers, but then again...........!

If that is the problem, dealing with popup blockers in IE on a Mac doesn't seem as straightforward as it is on a PC (I'm now using Firefox anyway, and it's simple on that!)

Can anyone suggest what problems someone might incur on interactive websites using Macs?

    Many thanks.

    D.

To be honest, just tell her to use a decent browser! eg Camino :) woohooo

Seriously though, for ease of use, and settings... if she doesnt want to have to figure things like that out, just get a better browser installation!

Internet Explorer for one thing!! It is ancient....ridiculously so.

Get her using safari or camino or firefox.

usually nothing more than flash required though, I find anyway... so shouldnt be any hassle, regardless of the OS
