    Hey guys, can someone tell me whats the difference between this and this and how easy would these be to overclock?

    See the one that says "tray" Thats the one with just a cpu, no heatsink or anything. Its known as a OEM chip. Nothing wrong with it, as its exactally the same as the other one. Just munus a cpu cooler.

    They will both clock the same, being the same chip. 3ghz+ on good air cooling.

    AFAIK OEM CPUs also only have a 1 year warranty as opposed to the 3-5 year for retail.

    This might not bother you if your going to OC it

    Thanks for the replies :) So would something like this be a good replacement for the OEM's lack of a cooler?
