AHH! NIGHTMARE... trying to get a 34kg package from uk to ireland?

    Firstly... no, its not a package like the ones found offshore in cork! :D

    Its actually a pro outboard motor for my father approx 90cm x 55 x 35 / 34KG.

    Tried TNT (€211 pickup and delivered)... DHL (€301 pickup and delivered)!!!

    Any other ideas? (and going over for it is €450 return on ferry plus petrol!) :confused:

    You're into freight territory I think. Can't recommend any companies myself but maybe someone else can.

    Call countrywide freight 01 8430000 (based in lusk)

    Or Hales.

    Once a package goes over 30kg it is regarded as freight rather than a parcel. Put it onto a pallet and either hales or countrywide will collect it for about €100 - €120. - probably cheaper if you can collect from their depot.

    Thanks for the replys... Rang interlink and came in at €91!

    Happy days... except the man on the phone was a pr*ck to deal with! (I think he had a monday morning head on him!)
