Was thinking bout a classic and someone a mate of my cousin knows has a Buick Century going cheap . We (me and my cousin) were thinking about it as an entry into the classic car game. Anyone any opinions on it. This particular one is a 5.7 and its a 74. I like the look of it (havent seen the actual one but have googled it) and it apparently doesnt need much done at all.

    Cheers for any opinions ventured.

American cars of this period are solid reliable cars, loads of stuff available still and parts are cheap, but as usual check for rust, check the autobox for smooth changes and check the engine for smoke.

A '74 Regal is a Century in coupe guise. And tbh, I'm none too clear about Kojak's car actually being a Regal - the Corgi toy Kojak car is a four door sedan - which would make it a vanilla Century.

Edit: here's a pic from Kojak episode 1 - and it's definitely a Century rather than a Regal.
