Pantone Colour Charts

    Hey all,

I need a bit of help if possible. My girlfriend is doing some freelance design work for a company in Finland, kids schoolbags and that sort of thing. She needs to spec out the colours to be used by the manufacturer, but the company she's doing the work for can't get their Pantone chart set over here in time for her to pick out what colours are required....They've kind of left her high and dry.

So, I'm hoping someone might be in a position to help out. She'll need charts for about 5 days we reckon, but without them, she'll possibly miss her deadline and lose out on being paid for a couple of months really hard work.

    Can anyone help?

If it's any use at all complete pantone colour charts are built into Adobe Photoshop and you can download a free 30 day trial version from their website. But that might not be very useful for practical applications . Pantone is an incredibly large and wide spread company so if I would imagine charts would not be to hard to find by asking around any sort of diy shop or even better paint supply shops like the sort automotive paints can be bought from

dont forget to calibrate your monitor properly before using any reference off the net, other wise you might as well be doing it blind.

dont use charts on your monitor, buy a pantone swatch book in o'sullivans or somewhere.
