Considering getting a sky+ box and wondering what the best option would be:

    a) If I go with sky it is € 149 for the box € 45 for the install. What size box are sky providing ?

    b) If I go via ebay what sky+ box should I be looking for ? Is there different generation of sky + boxes ? If I go this route is it simply a case of ringing sky to update my subscription to sky + (is there a charge). I already have a quad lnb and would cable this option my self.

    a) Sky will give you the newer PVR3 box, which has 80GB personal recording (80 reserved for Anytime)

    b) Which box you want will be up to you, and whether you plan upgrading HDD. Check this link for info on different Sky+ boxes. If you buy a box second hand from eBay or the like, it is just a case of ringing Sky and activating recording feature. No extra charge.
