    Hey Guys,

Without actually mentioning anything specific, I hope this won't get the thread flagged, but does anyone know how to get rid of unwanted concert tickets.

I could use ebay, but I would have to sell them at an inflated price so I don't lose out. I basically want to get rid of tickets for cost price.

Anyone know of anywhere to flog them?

adverts.ie won't allow it and buyandsell.ie seems to be rubbish!

    Any help appreciated,
    MF

    Few possibles.
You could use the buy it now option on ebay, pay €3 for it and get them to pay you when they meet up.
    Try a website called gumtree.ie
but looks like there's a lot of touts on there.
Another is everything.ie but not too many people use that site by the looks of it.
E-mail everybody you know and get them to "spread the word".

    Appreciate the feedback.
Just do not want to sell tickets to touts. I would love to turn up on the day, stand beside a tout and undercut them, but just afraid of losing money on the thing........

Will try as suggested, but pity we can't do it here.....

If its a festival goto their website and register on the forum, you can easily spot genuine fans/people without tickets and set up a public meeting place to exchange.
Same goes for a stand alone gig - 'the headlining acts' website will have a forum and this is the best place to line up a buyer.

The Pink Pages in the Evening Echo is also a great source for tickets - but if your not in Munster this wont be of much use?

    Be warned
They don't tell you the charges for selling the tickets on the site?
And they've already taken 5.95 off the seller in the first place when they bought the tickets.
