    take the magazine out, take a cable lock and run it from the ejection port ans out the magazine port.

    how do you disasemble an engine???.. you need to know which one!!!

    Check your owners manual. There should be a method of removing the action completely. Usually this is done by removing a couple of screws from the underside of the action and it should drop free.

    Most owners manuals show how to remove the action for cleaning.

    I think he's trying to completely disable it so that even if it's stolen it's useless. The cable lock could be broken once the rifle was in the thieves hands.

    It's not required, but if your gun is stolen and it's complete and usable then you may whistle until you get your licence back.

    It's good sense to always remove the bolt/action from your rifle so that if it's stolen, it's only a length of pipe with fancy woodwork :).
