Polishing Guitars

I just use regular guitar polish on my basses and guitars at the moment but my new bass needs a little extra. I've noticed some light swirl marks on the top of the bass, anything you'd recommend to remove these or make them less noticible without damaging the finish?

Swirl remover for cars from Halfords should do the trick. Just be careful with the stuff!

Use Autoglym super resin polish. Get yourself some decent cloths (cotton).
You can buy proper 100% cotton cloths in the likes of halfords.
I use this stuff on me bike and me guitar and I dont have swirl marks on either:D

    Nice one!!

I need to get me some lint-free cloths. For some unknown reason all guitar polishing cloths I've found are full of lint.

One thing that causes swirl marks is the cloths you use! Dont use old tee shirts or anything like that.
If you get some of the polish in the likes of halfords, you can get cloths there.
I use autoglym perfect polishing cloths. These are disposable and are ideal to apply the polish, and there is a finishing cloth you can get (micromesh cloth), which is lint free and will have yer guitar super shiny! till ye touch it with yer greasy fingers:D
