Hi all, im looking into getting a new pedal for my setup,
can anyone tell me the difference between the boss ce-5 and the boss ch-1 ?
and one other question if you had to pick between reverb or chorus, which one would you go for ?
Im just not sure which one to go for, i play a lot of different styles of music,
so its not a case of what kind of tone am i going for .
Any help is much apritiated

somone will probably answer about the different chorus types
but for me reverb is more important,

you could try get a basic multi fx on ebay
for the price of a new boss pedal

i'd take reverb, hands down, any day of the week

but i play surf

i do think though, that chorus is an effect that stands out too much, it's a bit gimmicky, though i do like it in small doses. reverb is something you'll probably use a lot more.

Reverb is less intrusive on your sound than chorus so I think it would probably fit with more things you do on the guitar (in general, it's definitely the one I use the most). Chorus can be a bit naff sounding, sometimes it sounds great but I think reverb is more of a swiss army effect.
