    I've seen this on adverts and seems great, http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.php?perpage=15&product=24974&cpage=1&perpage=15&cat=8#poststart the only problem is that its single core.
    would that not be that much of a deal or would i be better of going with this dell 6400 instead?;

    ya but the older one has a better graphics card and is €150 cheaper

    Half the hard drive space though. Might be a good deal if the graphics card is important to you, although I don't think the X300 is that great either. The new laptop you posted also has a DVD burner, but the adverts.ie ad doesn't say anything about this.

    Adverts ad.

    December 2005 purchased.
    It has another 450 days of next business day service.I'll upload pictures this evening.

    It's 18 months old.

    Preloaded with Windows XP Proffesional and Windows Vista Ultimate
    Will it come with a legit vista licence - if not and you need vista then you aren't saving €150 at all

    As pointed out, the other laptop has half the hard drive space. More and more games and applications are coming out that support Dua Core's, so the Dell wins in that respect. The X300 is about as good for gaming as the built-in Intel graphics on the Dell, so that's not really a plus point. To be honest there's only a €150 difference between the two. The adverts laptop would have to be alot cheaper before I'd ignore the Dell.
