Liked it at the start, and grew bored of it as time went on. According to Millhouse, Alf's bag, in Pog form!

Alf was pretty cool, does anyone remember the voice change pretty close to the start of the first series, ALF aparantly was HUGE in Germany, check the wickipedia, there was a national uproar when an "Alf" film was released but some characters were missing :)

Alf was great alright. My brother had an Alf bike, almost like the old chopper kind. :)

Ah yes, ALF. Watched it all the time.

I remember one episode ending with ALF being caught by the Alien Taskforce (or whatever) after trying to meet Rhonda and another survivor from Melmac. I was horrified then that I never saw the "next" episode to find out how Alf escaped.
It was only years later that I discovered that this was the final episode ever.

The story was picked up in a movie later on, set in a military camp. That's the one the Germans obviously didn't like as the Tanners weren't on the base.

You are all aware that Alf had his own real live chat show? Admittedly, it didn't go beyond the pilot stage but someone thought it a good idea.

    Here's how he ended up:

I seem to remember he ate cats or at least someone told me he ate cats.

That's traumatising for a child to hear

Ned, sorry to be pedantic, but after a good deal of mulling it over, I really feel I must intervene. You have misquoted the great Milhouse. Correct quote as follows:

I got some cool pogs: *shows them* Alf pogs! Remember Alf? He's back... in pog form!

Well noticed last night that a certain website has old Alf episodes up for people to watch. PM me for the address if you want. Had a bit of a rummage through the cartoons listings they had and started getting all nostalgic...:o

Memories of this are flooding back now, I remember a bit in one episode where he was eating a tennis racket because he heard the strings were made out of cat gut!

And there was one time, it might have been a movie or something, where ALF was counselling some little girl because she had some sort of disease and the only way to cure it was to go to some distant planet or something. I think. I could be making this all up though!
