Picked it up last week and its surprisingly good. Not perfect but very enjoyable. Its a 3rd person shooter with the camera locked over the players right shoulder. Lots of nice things like voices and sound effects. Graphics arn't bad and fully 3D. Some clever game idea because when you wal up to somthing you can hide behind you automatically get down behind it and can pop out to take shots. I hear its a bit short but we will have to see.

Played it a bit today, impressive for the DS.

The graphics are nice and it doesn't feel like some stripped down edition compared to console versions.

I posted the following impressions of the game on another forum, I don't think much of the game at all...
When I bought Brothers in Arms DS based entirely on screenshots and a single promo video I really didn't understand the pain I was letting myself in for. At the time I was on a serious Okami / Picross DS high so in my mind, games just couldn't be ****.

Brothers in Arms DS brought me back down to Earth like a downed German pilot - Screaming (and on fire)

My impressions having done the Normandy campaign...

The controls are incredibly unresponsive and you can't adjust their sensitivity so turning is a bitch if you're being shot in the back. Not that this matters since on the default difficulty you can take about a million hits before dying. No need to take cover.

That's probably for the best too since you can arbitrarily get stuck in walls! I haven't seen that I was trying to make video games in uni and did half-assed scenery clipping myself! It's a noob mistake.

It'd be worth it, to a point, if the game was any cop but it's just moving from checkpoint to checkpoint planting explosives and setting them off. The only neat moment so far was planting explosive on V2 rockets and then blowing the charges by shooting them with a sniper rifle at the end of the level.

It's a long, long time since I've been burned this badly by a game, and while I recognize this post will hurt any attempts I make to sell it on this forum I just don't think I could inflict the game on anyone else. I'll leave it on my shelf as a constant reminder that even good developers can **** things up.

Like most of the opinions I've read, I felt that the gamre was very enjoyable but far from perfect by any means.

The graphics are impressive which is one of the highlight for the title.
