Play.com Delivery

Just wondering how long an order takes to be delivered. My order was posted on Monday but no sign yet. No panic with it, just wondering.

I think that their stuff is getting delayed in customs. My replacement game was posted on the 28th of June, no sign of it yet.

Normally takes a week to 10 days.

Thanks Mark. That brings up another question... are there customs considerations when buying from Play? Is there duty to be paid?

An post delivers. No duty to be paid (marked on the envelope with some info about it saying no applicable). My last delivery took nearly six weeks, but was marked "Mail Trace". I'm hoping for a quicker delivery!

Normally takes 5-6 days for me, so if it was posted Monday I wouldn't expect it before next Monday at the earliest. Customs have never held anything of mine from Play.com. I think there's a chance it might get stopped if the value on the outside is over about €30.

Has anyone here bought anything recently that was delivered quickly as an example? I hope my last delivery was the exception rather then the rule!

I've had a couple in the last few weeks and they have all taken the 7-10 days they always do. If you last one was marked "Mail Trace" then it probably lot lost. Not a lot that play can do about that.

Got the x files box set off them when it came out, value was about €200 at the time, no hassle from customs. The fastest delivery from them was 4 days when I ordered a few books off them.

The value of mine is €70 so hope I've no bother with customs. Aren't they supposed to a lot stricter now with duty than they used to?

Ordered 6 DVDs two weeks ago on a Saturday. The went into the post Monday morning and all 6 arrived Friday. 5 day delivery on all of them was the best I've ever seen. It's not uncommon to have several DVDs posted at once turn up one at a time over a week or so period.

I ordered a games from them in June. It took about 4 weeks to arrive. However, I've got loads of stuff from them and it usually comes in 7-10 days.

20 days later and still not playing C&C3! I think I must be unlucky. Will report it missing again tomorrow when I'm allowed and get a refund if possible. Bought Saints Row from play asia and it came in only a few days!
