( this happened on the main road between Limerick and Galway not up some boreen )

    http://www.galwayindependent.com/news/12448.html
Galway Senior Hurling Team Manager Ger Loughnane and Galway Selector Louis Mulqueen got more than they bargained for on a routine drive home to Clare recently.

When travelling back to Clare following a training session with the Galway senior hurling squad, the duo were met by a raging bull just outside Kilcolgan.

Louis, who was driving Loughnane's brand new Lexus IS 220d, spotted the bull and pulled over to try to get the bull back into the nearby field.

Once pulled over the pair emerged from the car, grabbing the available hurleys from the boot in order to try to move the bull off the road.

However, they were met with an angered bull, who launched an attack on the maroon Lexus, leaving the front of the car completely destroyed. The courtesy car, which was given to Loughnane from Tom Hogan Motors in February of this year, was brought back to Tom Hogan Motors where Loughnane was provided with another Lexus.

The bull has since been identified as belonging to Miko Ryan, chairman of the county hurling board.

Thankfully neither Louis, Ger nor the bull were injured.

and if a cheap 2007 G or 2007 CE lexus comes up for sale don't take any bull from the garage .

What kind of muppets try to tackle a bull they know nothing about with hurleys? You'd think two men from the country would know better. They're just lucky they didn't get themselves killed - an angry bull is nothing to mess with.
