    Just wondering.

A dude in America is selling a

    MP5
    M16
    Colt Pistol

    blah blah blah

I know its probably the most asked question ever, but im not going to have a cop coming to my house telling to me get on the floor am I?

The guns are electric so probably arnt powerful at all.
    Specifications:
    Connector: Mini
    Cell Type: NIMH
    Voltage: 9.6
    Milliamps: 1100

Also the dude said that they dont have a red tip on them. Make any difference?

Im paying around 450 ($) for this stuff. I know its a lot but I cant find anywhere in Ireland.

They will only be for show and they have some cool modifications (dual mag, laser sights, tac lights etc)

So what do you think? Trouble just waiting in a box?

It's perfectly legal as long as it's under 1 joule of power. Read the forum stickies and charter. They have all the information you need.

You should probably post the make and model of the guns here too...a lot of US sites sell very low power guns at ridiculous prices - you could be buying a pup.

Also, the laser sights & tac lights are almost certainly illegal. I'm sure the stickies have it covered in much more detail..

Silly law, but the law is the law...

It wont be much use anyway as I live in Kerry ^^ and nothing seems to be going on in kerry :D

The inner beral has been replaced with a tightboar. The Plastic hand forgrip has been replaced with the full metal RIS system. The upper gearbox is reinforced with a bore up kit and M-130 with deep fire cylinder head, systema aluminum pistion and metal spring guid. The motor was replaced with a systema high torq motor. This gun has no delay in the trigger. I have had no problems out of this gun at all no jams or stalls. I have two upper gearboxs with this gun. The one that will come in the gun is a M130 reinforced set up with the boar up kit and all the goodies and will crono you in at 425 -435 with .25 bbs. The other gearbox that you see in the photos is a M120 Standerd gear boxs with a aluminum pistion and metal spring guid. This box will shot around 380-400 with .25. included is a 9.6V battery that will last around 5-8 hours *depending on how you shoot* and charger. You also get the M-190 Special Force Bertta. . I have 3 green gas mags that will come with gun as well. I also have 4 ICS high Cap Mags that will coming with the M-16 and around 10,000 .25 BBS as well I have a sling i will toss in and some eye protection.

Unfortunatly so... can i suggest that you just browse throught the stickies especially the list of retailers, after that you should be able to find all you want. But i do suggest that you dont rush into anything untill you are a little more familier with the whole airsoft scene.

Sorry meant to comment on this as well, its also over the legal limit. As Mark says you'd be better buying off RSOV or one of the other etailers that have been recommended.

    425fps with a .25g bb is 2.19 joules.

    400fps with a .25 is 1.85 joules.

The limit is 1 joule. So as you can see, they're both WAY over.

An AEG over 1 joule would technically be an illegal fully automatic firearm.

    ****

    :(

I thought it was low powered.

That has got me thinking. I have got an air rifle. It is a spring action on. The tech specs say 23lb/square inch.

Is this over? It is a .22

    cheers

Eh, an air rifle shoots 6-7 joules plus. You're talking about a firearm there. As Gandalf said, shooting forum for that kind of thing. But you should know, having a firearms license for your air rifle and all that...
