Okay, so my situation is that I'll recieve a degree in Systems & Networking when I finish the work experience I'm currently doing and when I'm done I'd like to bounce straight into the IT sector of work. Problem is I don't really know where to go in terms of jobs. I know the type of work I'd like to do (Tech support / Desktop support-ish kinda job) but I'm finding a hard time looking for adequete jobs. I've tried countless job recruitment sites but they 1) throw up the same results to most jobs require a few years work experience. It's increasingly harder when I search for work on the west of Ireland.

The whole sha-bang has left me bewildered in terms of where to start  Anyone ever been in a similiar situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

First thing to do is to register and post your CV on these web sites. Post a few different versions title them differently and aim them at certain jobs highlighting certain skills.

Second is to find as many agencies that deal with the west of ireland as possible and get in touch with them. By getting in touch I dont mean just sending them an email. Try get in contact with one employee from each agency and keep a line of communication open with them.

Third is to see if your college has a Carear advisor and set up a meeting with them. They might have a list of companies and contacts that have takin on graduates before.

Fourth be patient, the perfect job doesn't just appear when ya want it too, it can take weeks or months.

    Good luck...

Thanks, it's just the thought of staying in my hometown working in Lidl *shudders* As good as the pay was (€11 an hour, cuz I worked over a year there) the job nearly drove me insane that I took an early leave of abscene for work experience! Anywho, cheers for the reply.
