    standard 2.4Ghz stuff - but they are using omni's so this means that one of these units in Athlone would be able to pick up stuff from Dublin to Cork, but wait aren't you only allowed 8 devices with bluetooth ?

    cba reading further - but putting a bluetooth usb device on a usb cable and at the focal point of an MMDS dish would increase the range enough to make blue jacking fun

    The guy probably meant 3km, which is doable with some extensions.
    30Km, you need relays.
    Anyway the page is gone apparently...

    You would be well over the power limit of 100mW EIRP if you were getting a bluetooth signal 3Km, never mind 30Km.
