Can any one recommend a good, family friendly resturant or Pub in the area?

Greytones has some brilliant resturants which my wife and I get to enjoy BUT most are not that family friendly (ie for say kids under they age of 8) and are too expensive to eating in regularly with the children.

Any tips within a 20 min drive or a hope on the Dart would be welcome.

vino pasta, cheap and good food.

either that or you've got the metal chairs in val comino.

the burnaby has good food as well.

failing that there's a mac donlands, kfc and supermacs in bray.
burgerking, macdonalds, itsa bagel, gourmet burger, abrakebabra, and many more in dun laoghaire.

Or maybe somewhere like the club in dalkey, the queens, or the italian place across from the queens in dalkey.

Coachhouse in Roundwood is also good. You can have a steak while the kids have chips, whatever.

Papagallo's in Stillorgan (Behind Bondi on the N11) is great - big comfy booths, great italian food and pizza, really really kid friendly (colouring stuff, crayons, etc, etc, )

The Wicklow Arms in delgany is family friendly, quite reasonably priced, decent food, tho sometimes service, specifically waiting time, is the only minus point. Plenty of parking out the back too.

Best Restaurant in Wicklow for kids imo is the Wicklow Heather on the way up to Glendalough just past Laragh. It's not much more than twenty mins away but worth the trek. its very homely plenty of room and the food is lovely. Half roast dinners for the kids or they can have chick nuggets pasta or burgers. and they even get a lolly with the bill. Not too expensive but plenty of variety especially on a Sunday when they have loads of specials on like Lamb Pork Fish ect.

We went to Divas with our little one (3 at the time). They gave her crayons and pictures to colour. great staff, not too pricey either.:D
