Garda t-shirts

    Hi all,

    Not sure if people heard about these garda tshirts on the news. Seemingly someone has the right to sell tshirts with the garda logo on it. Does anyone know anymore about this, ane mainly where you can but them?

    this is actually turning into a big controversey. The company in question(I wont name them) had the rights to make garda souvenirs but thought that meant they could make replica gear like tshirts, jackets and badges, which your not allowed sell as they could be used for impersonating a garda. The guards are now making them recall all the stock. Apparently a shop in Limerick got a load in and it was all gone within a day:eek:

    Short answer is you wont be able to buy anything that looks real.
