Burning a CD

Just trying to burn an album onto a CD from Windows Media Player. Just trying to burn an album onto a CD from Windows Media Player.

Bascially when i drag all the songs into the burn list on the right hand side and then click Start Burn, the CD pops out of the computer and a message comes up
Insert Media
Please insert a blank disc in CD Drive (E:). Once Windows Media Player detects the new disc, it will automatically start burning.

Any idea what the problem is? incidentally its my first attempt at burning a CD
