Loz, This site is set up as an information point for people lookin to find out about MMA in Ireland, From places to train to events comin' up, I don't think its any harm to have Information readily available for any subject, do you!?!

Neil, Next Gen. never got back to me with contact info, if you have it let me know and i'll stick it up there. That goes for any club or Active fighter, I am trying to compile as complete a listing as possible so let me know if you or your club want listing.

Next Gen is Dave Jones who posts here, I am sure he will be along in a minute. They train in Loughlinstown, though I will let Dave give you the details!

No offence, but IMHO if you want people to take your site seriously you'll have to do better than something thrown together in Microsoft office.

Muckwarrior, Do you think the info i'm trying to provide would be any more valid if the site was made with HTML code or similar???

Loz, While boards is a valuable source of info you have to sift through alot of topics and responses to find any real info.
MMA-Ireland is a great site but its most recent events listing is for April 2006!

hopefully i'll be able to provide up to date info and listings which should benefit mma clubs and event organisers.
Again i don't think its any harm having another info source, no matter how its put together.

Nope. But a site design is basically like a shop front. It doesn't matter how high the quality of the produce your selling is if people are put off from coming in because it looks like a dump from the outside.

I'm not trying to knock your effort, just making you aware that some users may be instantly put off by the design, or lack thereof.

Let me get this straight mister 'who's the hottest girl in Star Trek',
Are you seriously comparing a commercial premises selling quality produce with a shabby shop front to a web site giving free info to any one who wants it!?!

The analogy stands true. Admitedly it isn't as applicable to a site like yours as say an e-commerce site, but all i'm saying is when I take one look at a site like that I leave. It all depends on your aspirations for the site, if your lookin to build a large user base then IMO I think you'll need to come up with something a little more professional looking.

Again I'm not trying to slag you off or anythin, just giving some constructive criticism.
