Campervan needed!!

    Hi,

    I'm looking to rent a campervan or motorhome for the Electric Picnic festival on the first weekend in September. Unfortunately all the motorhome rental spots in the country are fully booked up for that weekend!! I was wondering if anyone knew of a place/person that might rent one out for a few days in exchange for a large sum of cash!!
    It would be extremely well taking care off and we can also provide whatever deposit they require.

    You'll have a hard time trying.

    I wouldn't give my van unless you bought it, and most other motorhome owners would probably be the same ...they grow on you these yokes.

    Besides that, private hiring is explicetly excluded in the insurance policy and I'd imagine special insurance would cost an arm and a leg if you could get it at all.

    Bring a tent :cool:

    On the insurance front, what would happen if he put his own comp insurance on it....say transferred his car insurance to the vehicle. I spoke to my car ins company before I bought a camper as I was looking at getting a "loan" of a vehicle.

    Unfortunately not suggesting that I am interested in sending my van to the electric picnic (either with or without me)
