Registration Now Open for the International Poker Open

Just wanted to start a new thread to make sure everyone knows that registration is opening today (July 4th at 12 noon) for the International Poker Open. I'm going to bump this thread for the next few days (if thats ok mods) but if you have any questions or comments please post them in the 'IPO Official Thread'.

I'm asking all Boardsies that plan to play in this event to register now (if you have the bankroll)......The more players that we can show registering now the more we will get on Oct 6th and we really really really want to get more than 1,000 players.

I'm going to be sending out texts, emails and will be ringing everyone I know for the next few days but any help you can offer in terms of posting information on other sites, in other forums or just telling people to get their names down would be much appreciated. Also, if you have time email me with info about who you have told and where you have posted.

Also can anyone who is making the effort put something like this in their signature......'International Poker Open Oct 6th RDS, 2 Day Event. €150 Buy-in and an estimated prize-pool of €125,000. All players must register on www.pokerireland.ie'

Finally! The registration is now open.

It says close 1 of September and this was due to the system couldn’t take enough days. However nothing you need to bother about. We will extend or put up a new tourney registration after 1 of September so no problems.

I will be registering with Mermaid tomorrow, but C4Queen, could I possibly trade you some Pokerstars $ for $ in Mermaid to register this? Or do you refuse to associate with the competition?
