YES! I was just about to say that. MMM. I wish I were eating one right now...(They probably taste gick, but my childhood memories are sugar tinted) They were chewy, right? With a papery packet.

    Chewy alright.
They had a groove down the back of the bar, that a piece of the paper wrapper was always stuck in.
You ended up eating that section of paper as well.
I think the actual bar itself was pinky red in colour.

BOTP was deadly. and the bars -blackcurrant flavour - rip the teeth out of yah but tasty.

Wasn't Captian Caveman on after BOTP?

Ulysses 31, god that little robot rocked!

    Enjoy: <snip>

Also has Battle of the Planets for you: <snip>

MOD edit: TV Links not allowed, sorry.

Zoltan was the coolest baddie ever

Someone did some really top notch BOTP artwork on the interweb so presumably it's now a comic.

A crow once dropped half a BOTP bar on my head. When i walked on it flew down off the lampost and picked it up. Presumably to use it another victim.

    GFORCE!!!

Sorry about that Ruu, I'd read the charter but thought that you only meant linking to downloadable episodes, with the Z thingimies and mp3s, thought you allowed youtube style site links (viewable but not easily downloaded unless you know how). My bad.:(

BOTP is out on DVD in most shops. Saw a box set in a DVD store in Rathdowney Outlet Centre and got another for the brother last Christmas in HMV.

7 Zark 7 dosnt exist in the original cartoons shown in Japan. He was brought in as a link prop because cutting out all the nasty and voilent bits left the thing in a pure heap and his role (voiced by Kasey Casem aka Shaggy aka Radio Nova's Bilboard Top 40 show) was to fuill in the gaps.

And Zoltan was indeed some bizzare cross dressing type with mad long hair and lipstick.
