Just completed training with the World Champion and record holder for the professional kettle bell lifting "Vasilijs Ginko" of Latvia.I'm just waiting on word back from Paddy Clint to bring over a hudge shipment of Kettlebells. These bells are the only ones accredited by the International Union of Kettlebell lifting.I will be do'en foundation workshops in Paddys place and will be bringing over my coach and the World Champion at the start of the New Year or maybe even before Christmas if there was interest.I have been invited ( only Irish man ) to take part in the championships in Russia this year as an amateur ( lifting two 24kg's as many times in 10 mins ) and by next year "fingers crossed" entering the pro's...lifting two 32kg's as many times in 10 mins.....they consider you a child if you lift lighter ???

Vasilijs Ginko holds the record at 106 times in 10 min's and men ??? juggle with the 16kg's " Harlem globe trotter style"....I've just started jugglen with them its great craic.Basicly my goal is coach an Irish team to take part in next years shows in Russia and coach up any one interested in Ireland up to a high level and bring only the finnest in coaching skills and product to Ireland.
So contact myself 07789465700 or pawo_1@yahoo.com to place an order. My web site aint ready yet or contact Paddy Clint. All the best J.....(will post photos as soon as I get them)

Can i just ask what lift needs to be done? Is it a clean and jerk ( hang or power? ) or a snatch or a simple clean and press?

There are alot of thing's you can do with the bells...from jugglen to Swing's,clean's and press'es.At this moment in time I'm focusing on comp stuff as in clean's....there is whats called the long cycle, where basicly the bell hangs free betwen the leg's...snatched to the shoulder and then pressed. This is part of the comp training too......alot of people are doing insane stuff with them ? but the comp training builds great explosive power and your cardio go'es through the roof too.
I'm just starten to enjoy jugglen them....need fast feet,as if I mis the catch...I get get flater feet but first class for hand and eye training.
Really proper coaching is needed at a foundation level,as I've seen a lot of thing's on youtube that are wrong and I've seen people teaching them too wrongly and thats not me sayen that it's the people who are the best with them. That's why the BKLF was set up british k-bell lifting fed...to have the sport taught properly. All the best J

Dragan total hard core,if your lifting two 24kg'z for 10 min's with out letten the bells hit the floor.I'm training with my coach do'en the "clean's" it's tuff and the idea of one day getten to clean two 32kg'z pro style nearly makes me cry.Just a thought but you'er more than welcome to come to any courses as I learnt better form on the bells form the champ as you dont really use your delt's as much or your forearms...if the form is sch-weet..only on the clean's that is.So all the best and keep in mind that, there will be comp'z in Ireland to get up a team to go to Mutha Russia.Keep swingen the Heavy Metal...J

Cave Dave if you a fit guy ? I reckon a 16kg and a 24kg as you can play with correct form and cardio with the 16kg.Then build up the power with the 24kg + on top of that you can do cleans with the 24kg and have the 16kg as your anchor. As if your a serious athlete ( Russian style as there is three levels ) you want to be working up to a 32kg but all this for a guy around 75kg+.Really there isnt that much difference between a 16kg and a 24kg just your form is better. So there ya go...............all the best J

Kettlebells rock! Have used them as part of pre season training for a rugby team Im involved with and also for my own training. Im convinced they have improved a long term a/c joint / rotator problem in my shoulder. I started with a 16kg but we now have 1 x 16kg, 1 x 20kg, 1 x 24 kg and the new one last week is a 32kg. Really looking forward to the workshop. Jason can you explain what you mean by anchor? should I be holding a 16kg in my left while cleaning with my right?

Yeah David, you let the other bell hang free as an anchor between your leg's and claen with the other hand.It anchor's you at your center...working your leg's as if you where squating but taken of the load on the core but you can still get that explosive movement needed for ruby through your body from the feet up.Any more 1st class questions like this 'n' I'll be doing the foundation course on line on boards ! David it's good to see some one who is clue'ed in the bells, keep the heavy metal rocken. As there is a lot of youtube cowboys out there teaching bad form,it sounds like you've done your home work...nice one.Looken forward to meeten you,I will be bringen two 32kg'z to the course. So we'll work together,I should be able to clean one 32kg for a time after the comp. All the best J
