    Hey guys,i want to take up guitar.wondering if u guys could help.

    looking for some where in walking distance of the luas that i could buy a good beginners electric guitar (in dublin). reply if u have time

    Depends. What do you listen to? What music do you want to play? If you're into acoustic stuff then fire away with an acoustic, but if you're into music made with electric guitars then you should go with electric.

    There was a thread about this a few weeks ago, this was the main outcome:
    if you want to play acuctic, buy an acustic. If you want to play electric, play electric, get an electric.
