    A poll :)

TV3 wants to launch a multicity radio channel called More FM (4 other applications have been made to the BCI). More info at www.bci.ie from Friday.

TV3 also want to buy up Emaps crop of Radio stations which includes Today FM.

So would you let them do?

I reckon they should work on what is a dire TV channel first.

On a side note, why is there a "No opinion" option in the poll? Surely, if you don't have an opinion, you don't participate? :D

Have to say the idea of TV3 getting a bunch of city licences and Today FM fills me with dread.

TV3 seem to be out of the running for Emap's radio stations (Today FM, 98FM and Highland Radio).

TV3 have lost their bid to get the Multi city Radio Licence from the BCI :):D

    Poor TV3.

And thats that, by the looks of it. No more new radio licences to be renewed or advertised, so, if TV3 want into radio now, they will have to buy. Its not going to be easy or cheap.

Just for clarification on that one, yes there is another licence to be advertised imminently - its the classic rock licence for Dublin and its commuter belt.

    Carry on.
