the dreaded orange barrel !!!

okay, after agreeing with ehobby not to send an orange tip , what did i get...yep an orange tip (i know the title kinda stole my punch line there)

its a metal barrel m203 --anyone know how to get that crap off. it appears to flick off but i dont want to scrape it off as that will take the metal coating as well..

any ideas greatfully received...

If you can just flick it off with your fingernails then maybe try a selotape with really strong adhesive, that shouldn't damage the barrels finish

Try using White Spirits, they "warn" on most sites that if you put paint thinner near the orange paint it may "unfortunately" cause it to come off.

they are saying use an oil based thinner...anyone know a name ...harekin, is that what you mean...sorry for being so picky, i just dont want to wind up removing the metal coating as well..

and mark i am pretty annoyed, i emailed them consistently on this and they kept saying they had non orange tipped ones in stock...

and it gets worse, its also my mistake, iasked them for a non tipped m3 shotty but didnt metion it for the nade launcher...so i doubly pissed now..i will have to get it off and its my fault...not a great start to today....

slight downside alrite, quick question for ya though is the launcher any use?

i mean it looks impressive as hell but is it the extra weight and bulk?
Would you use it often?

Was think about getting one, eventually. but have managed to talk myself out of it everytime.

My Classic Army M203 looks impressive as all hell, but as was seen at Barrage, the damn thing only fires when it wants to.

I think its because I'm using el cheapo G&P grenades though....I'll have to get my hands on a Madbull and see if its any better.

yep got g&p ones...there are some new ones (cant remember the name) but i asked uncompany what they are like. have not tried them yet as i need to get the gas from where o1s1n got his.

well it is heavy, and i too was always in two minds, should i get another aeg or at least have the cash for a good part of one, but now that i have it, i am chuffed, orange barrel aside obviously

since i am such an incredibly crap shot....it suits me...kinda hard to dodge a wall of bb's...

ya i find their extremely effective once you get in ofcourse

the mistake i made ambro was mentioning no orange on one and not the other. i guess they just follow an order as it written, so just specify on every potential orange tipped aeg, that it shouldnt be..i assumed they would realise...bigger the fool me.

on the m3 i will do doing a review today on that, the g&p stock etc..
