I visited this years ago but it's since gone. Anyone know where the exhibits are now, in storage, scrapped or gone to other museums? Particularly interested in the fate of the DC8 fuselage. I believe there was a plan to move them close to New Ross at one point but that fizzled out.

DC8 ? Was it one of the old Aer Tara ones ?

I think so, it was just the fuselage, if memory serves me correctly.

Sadly, there's nothing I can find on Google to indicate what became of the artifacts, probably in storage somewhere.

Haven't they been moved to the Dromod railway museum?

I remember the DC-8 ... you could go inside and play around in the cockpit if memory serves me well.

Pity its gone. The last time I remember seeing it was late 80's.

Apparently they are modernising the airport and I see that Bae-146 jets are taking off there now with 737's going to be able to land in the near future.
